Hello! My name is Nathaniel and welcome to my blog! This blog is to get to know me, to hear some ramblings on things I find interesting on verious topics, and also a place I can share short stories that I write. This is something that I feel is theraputic to me and something that I feel that would be a great way to connect to more people. So welcome and let's jump right on in.
Like I said my name is Nathaniel Wu and I grew up in the lovely suburbs of Los Angeles. I lived a pretty quiet and peaceful life, going to school, doing extracurricular activities, and just having fun as a child. School for me was fun as I loved to talk to other people and to just interact with others. I loved reading and would read so much that I even had a flashlight under my bed to keep reading after being told to go to bed. I never listened and I would get caught so often and forced to return the flashlight and book all time. I was also a part of the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts so I can learn to survive in the wild and so I could do more. I never truly liked it but it was fun to go out and explore a bit. I also did swim team which I hated and something that has put me off of swimming for a long time. But the other big love that I did was playing the piano. Yes, there were times when I would practice way too much but I still love it so much. My music teacher saw so much potential and saw that I had the touch to really play amazing.
However, when I turned 11, my life turned around to a challenege that has been a huge part of my life. I was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. From then on, my life changed drasically in so many different ways that I could not have predicted. So much happened and so much changed me into the person that I am today. I would not not change what happened as it made me the person that I am today.
I started my college journey during the height of the pandemic in 2020. I started out at Mount San Antonio Community College in the aviation science department. I then moved to Daytona Beach, Florida to start my degree in Air Traffic Management. I completed my degree in December of 2024. I currently at Brault as a banking assistant in Medical Billing and still live in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Well, that is a bit about me and who I am as a person. I hope you enjoyed learning a little about me and hope that you enjoy all the rambling I will post on here. Stick around and Welcome to the Wile Ride!
